QUBOS successfully tackled the challenge of designing an SNG station, along with a high-pressure network and gas networks, to serve multiple towers on Al Reem Island. This comprehensive approach ensured a robust and efficient gas supply system.

Pioneering SNG technology in the region

This project stood out as one of the first SNG (Synthetic Natural Gas) initiatives of its kind at the time. Anticipating the future delivery of natural gas to Al Reem Island, QUBOS developed an SNG solution to seamlessly minimise the transition from LPG to NG, demonstrating foresight and engineering ingenuity.
